I've come to accept that I will never quit eating out. It's how I socialize and connect with people. I love enjoying good food and conversation with my friends after a long day at work or a crazy week! Plus, I live in Portland, a foodie mecca!
The truth: I haven't stepped into a gym since 2007 and I don't ever plan on going again.
You know how it is, moms. Your “to do” list is a mile long, and it doesn’t always include self-care activities like eating well and getting enough sleep. Getting enough fluids? You just figure you’ll remember to drink when you’re thirsty.
Two of my great passions are words and food. Reading alone and with my family, making food for my family and friends, and writing stories that capture our family memories and special moments bring me great joy and pleasure in life.
As a family we are always trying to find new games to play but we always end up going back to our favorites! My favorite type of games are the ones that have simple instructions, can be taught quickly to any guest and can involve a wide range of ages. There's only so much Candy Land I can take without seeing double gumdrops.
