RedLaser

Say you’re at a friend’s house, watching a movie so great that you just have to add it to your collection as well. Scan the barcode of the movie, and RedLaser will find stores near you that are selling it, including the price at each location! You can also search local libraries for a book you are considering purchasing at the store – perfect for avid readers who want to save a buck. The app even allows you to type in a keyword to find exactly what you are looking for nearby, and tells you which store is going to carry it. You won’t have to drive to four different stores looking for an item that is only sold at one. RedLaser also includes a QR code reader (if you’re not sure what that is, those are the small, black-and-white boxes that have been popping up on advertisements, flyers, and business cards lately) so you can access a website or load contact info without typing anything in.
