The What’s What: Bloesem Kids continues to tempt and inspire with off-the-beaten path art and products for children (if you needed evidence the Netherlands is a design paradise, here it is). We’re especially crazy about the gorgeously photographed home tours, which feature the digs of high-style families from around the world, and the regular spotlights on mom-owned businesses.
The Mama: Founder Irene Hoofs is a graphic designer who formally sold her work through Barney’s and Selfridges. Originally from Amsterdam, she currently lives in Malaysia with her husband and two sons. This year, American writer/web designer Tiffany King joined forces with Hoofs, lending Bloesem some stateside style.
