Blueberry Brain Boost

Blueberry Brain Boost Smoothie

Serving Size:

Makes about 2 1/2 cups (600 ml); serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) fresh-pressed apple juice
  • 1 fresh ripe banana
  • 1 1/2 cups (170 g) frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup (55 g) frozen raspberries
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) raw walnuts, preferably soaked and drained

Method:

Combine the apple juice and banana in a blender. Add the blueberries, raspberries, and walnuts. Blend until smooth.

    I use ground flax seed which adds a great fiber boost without the kids knowing I’ve adding it!
