School Closings Snow Day Activity: Marshmallow Snowman Pops

By TheNaptimeChef |

Snowman marshmallow popsHere is a great, easy kitchen activity to do with young kids if you are home with the kids today. Since my daughter is barely three years old I focus on easy and fun kitchen crafts with her. If I try to attempt anything too complicated she quickly gets frustrated and loses interest. That is why these Snowman Marshmallow Pops are so much fun to make together. They are so simple that she stays engaged in the activity, which takes no more than 10 minutes, and she can eat one immediately once it is assembled. It is just the right activity for her age and, I have to admit, I like doing them too. They are adorable to boot!

Snowman Marshmallow Pops

1 Bag large marshmallows

Mini-Chocolate Chips

Fruit Roll-ups

Gum Drops

Skewers or extra long toothpicks

1. Place the marshmallows on the skewers and decorate the snowman with mini chocolate chips, a gumdrop for a hat and cut-up pieces of fruit roll up for a scarf. Decorate with whatever else you want, too!
