Easy Peasy Easter Lamb Cupcakes

shaina0 Ole & Shaina Olmanson |

These cute lamb cupcakes are so easy to throw together, and they make a fun Easter dessert. They are especially kid-friendly because they are just as fun to eat as they are to decorate. Let the kids help stick the marshmallow “wool” on while you add the faces. There’s no mess to worry about either; just make sure you have more marshmallows than you need. Strangely, a few seem to wander off when the kids are helping.

Lamb Cupcakes

12 vanilla-frosted cupcakes
2 cups mini marshmallows
1/2 cup vanilla frosting
1/4 cup vanilla frosting tinted black
1/4 cup vanilla frosting tinted pink

Make a quarter-sized ball of frosting in the center of the cupcake. Surround the ball by mini marshmallows. Add ears and place mini marshmallows at the base of each ear. With the black frosting add eyes, and then add a mouth for the lamb with the pink frosting.

Makes 12 lamb cupcakes.
