Who: Alice Currah, a mother of three based in Seattle
Why we love this blog: Even if you haven’t read Savory Sweet Life, chances are that you’ve seen Alice Currah’s recipes before. A regular contributor to PBS’ Parents Kitchen Explorers and The Pioneer Woman’s Tasty Kitchen blog, Currah has also graced the pages of Bon Appétit, Real Simple, Martha Stewart, and Saveur. Her first cookbook is due out in June, but until then, readers are subsisting on her blog’s mix of reviews, recipes, and stories about the role food plays in Currah’s life. Awesome photography, clear directions, and an intimate writing style make this one of the most popular food blogs on the web.
