Who: Cathy Pollak, a mother of two living in McMinnville, Oregon
Why we love this blog: Cathy knows about food from the ground up … literally. After moving with her hubby to Oregon, the two planted a vineyard, where they currently make and sell their own wine. The first to admit, “Gluttony is my sin of choice,” Pollak has filled her blog with recipes like Guinness-braised brisket and sausage pizza pot pies that practically sing to the tastebuds. Of course there’s also copious wine talk and posts about life on the vineyard. We’ll drink to that.
