Nibbles and Feasts

Who: Ericka Sanchez, a mother of one son living in Los Angeles
Why we love this blog: This bilingual Spanish-English blog wins our hearts (and our tastebuds). Why? Nibbles and Feasts highlights Latin cuisine that the whole family — even those with picky palates — will gobble up faster than you can say “olé!” And there’s also the fact that Sanchez is just not going to skip dessert. Approaching cooking with a keen sense of humor, the Mexican-American mama shares some cleverly decadent treats (hello, horchata cupcakes) — but doesn’t forget about the kickass, healthy recipes either, like these salmon tacos with fruity salsa. Along the way you’ll also be privy to helpful posts about food and the art of cooking, like this one that uses Star Wars to explain what’s “organic” (is there any better way?).
