Who: Melissa Clark, a mother of one living in Brooklyn, New York
Why we love this blog: This mom knows her stuff. The author of 34 cookbooks and a food columnist for The New York Times, Clark doesn’t mess around when it comes to finding the best ingredients and taking culinary risks, but she’s also down for a little comfort food. (She even wrote a book on it). Variety abounds on this site, where you’ll find philosophical articles on the merits of snail butter (hold the snail) alongside posts on how to make the world’s easiest breadcrumbs.
