Just One Cookbook

Who: Namiko Chen, a mother of one son and one daughter living in the San Francisco Bay area
Why we love this blog: Traditional Japanese dishes broken down in a fast, easy way? We’ll have seconds. Dishes heavily influenced by the recipes Chen grew up with in Yokohama, Japan are the hallmarks of this blog, but don’t let that deter moms with picky eaters. If you can’t convince Junior to chow down on braised carrot and burdock root stir-fry, there are plenty of more familiar options, like tomato bacon pasta and chicken and corn chowder. What all of Chen’s recipes have in common is that they’re no fuss. These bad boys are designed to be prepped and put on the table before you can say domo arigato.
