Who: Sarah Murphy-Kangas, a mother of two living in Seattle, Washington
Why we love this blog: Yes! A blogger who understands that cooking is oftentimes as much an economic endeavor as it is a culinary one. A self-described “leftoverist,” Murphy-Kangas has made an art out of showing readers the tastiest things they can do with those lingering ingredients that just never seem to get used up. Aside from saving us a bundle of cash, Murphy-Kangas also makes us think. Whether she’s waxing on the best blueberry muffins or the happiest man in the world, she has our attention, and we’re with her all the way.
