feedback for "Field Trip: The Wonder Pets"

My eldest daughter (who just turned 5) really likes The Wonder Pets, but I have to confess that one of my biggest pet peeves about children's television is characters with speech impediments. I feel the same way about Baby Bear on Sesame Street as I do about Ming-Ming: Get that animal to a speech therapist!

My niece and I just love Wonder Pets and the new photo puppetry is an eye opener, very fresh. I enjoyed the article you did on the behind the scenes. But I agree with mcgob in the fact that the speech impediments are not that great. She is 3 yrs old now and has developed stuttering. I know I had real problems until the 1st grade, and remember Disney's Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers where they said "Ch-ch-ch-chip and dale rescue rangers!!" It promotes stuttering which is bad.
But you have to admit Ming-Ming is very cute and the girl who voices her is too - this is seeweous :)
I'm telling everyone about this site www.LittleToons.com which has DVDs, books, and toys I think of the Wonder Pets. Really cool.
