for the woman who needs a dress- EMPIRE WAIST! it hides all the bulge of a pregnancy! There are also some bridesmaid designers who do maternity dresses, but when i had to get something for a blacktie event i just went to H&M, it worked fantastic.

I still feel horrible about the dress I made my sister wear post-partum. When I was choosing bridesmaid dresses, my then-future-sister-in-law was *extremely* demanding about what she would wear, the dress had to be sexy and fitted and tailored. My sister said "just do what she wants, I'll be fine," and she was, but I know she felt bad that day -- she's holding her five-month-old in front of her in all the pics.
The guilt. I'm not even married to that guy anymore! thank god, because his sister ...
