feedback for "Parental Advisory: Yum, Strained Peas"

I had exactly this "problem" with my second child. Not interested in baby food whatsoever. So I just let her feed herself small pieces of regular table food. And you know what? It's going great! She loves most everything and I don't have to deal with the cost and annoyance of feeding her something special.
I blogged about it earlier this month:

My son never ate more than a teaspoon or two until he was nine months old. At nine months almost to the day he woke up ready and ate a whole meal and has been a great eater since, he's five now and eats a wide range of foods. An eight-month-old who isn't interested in solids isn't necessarily going to be a problem eater at twelve months. One thing it's easy to forget about young babies is how much they can change in a really short period of time from an adult perspective. This baby may just not be interested yet, and although that sucks for a breastfeeding mom in some ways, forcing the issue may actually be counterproductive. I'd back off, give it a few weeks, then try again.
