feedback for "Parental Advisory: Ready to Go"

  1. I don't know, I moved appartments at 7 months and am more than happy about it, because I cannot imagine moving with a baby (and it's not even moving to another town!)
I was able to do my share of nesting before the baby came, so if you want to move anyway, better do it now than later.

  2. Agree with DaintySplendor. We moved 200 miles (so not huge, but not down the block) when I was 8 months, and only 3 weeks before baby actually showed up. As much as a pain as it may be, I'd rather do it while pregnant than with a baby! And for me, I totally got into nesting mode once we moved, and that's even with a toddler running around too. Unless you love where you're at and plan to stay there long-term or even somewhat long term, better now than later!

  3. I moved from wyoming to maine when I was almost 6 months. save for the tornado warnings along I-80, things went pretty smoothly.  In fact, if you do a big move like this when you're preggo, think of all the heavy lifting you won't have to do! Now is the time!

  4. Go, go, go!

We knew we had a big move (from England to Canada) in our future when we had our children, but we waited. By the time we decided to move, our eldest child was very attached to friends and family in the UK and, consequently, he has had a really hard time settling here in Canada.

We found it really easy to become established in our community when we had babies - dramatically less easy with preschoolers.

If you know you want to make the move, my experience is make it sooner rather than later. If I could do it all again, I'd either make the move earlier or I'd just have stayed in the UK.

    Good luck!
