feedback for "5-Minute Time Out: Autism's False Prophets"

  1. Well, this was certainly reassuring to read on the day my 18 month old got the dreaded MMR.
We chose to vaccinate our daughter on a 'reduced' schedule.  I completely believe in vaccinations but I also didn't think giving 8 shots to my 9 pound 2 month-old was a good idea.  So we chose to return to the doctor's office every month or two and receive 2 or 3 at a time.  Now at 18 months we are completely caught up.  We will do the same for the next round, having one shot every year so that by Kindergarden she is ready to go.

  2. I can't help but be a little suspicious of a guy who talks about making literally millions of dollars as if he did it by accident - "Oh yes, I'm extremely wealthy because I created that technology, and my entire reputation and lifestyle are staked on it, but hey, that hardly gives me a reason to defend it, right?"

Plus, his contempt for people who disagree with him (charlatans and desperate gullible fools!) is right there on the surface.

He may be right, and vaccines may in fact have no relation to autism, but man, he doesn't make himself easy to side with. I know that being likeable has nothing to do with whether someone is actually correct, but being kind of a jerk doesn't help this guy's case.

  3. I have a friend with 4 children, all born at home, no vaccinated.  One is austitic and another shows signs.  She still refuses to vaccinate her younger kids.  Now that is just goofy.  Rather than chase ghosts we need the parents picketing the White House demanding more money for research into treatments and causes of Autism.

  4. This guy is so repulsive to me, I can't even stand it! Please stop having this guy even say the word autism anymore, yuck.

I was kinda liking babble, I'm new around here, but this biased piece of junk reporting is lame.

  5. As someone who has a baby due this winter, I'd be curious to hear what he has to say about the H1N1 vaccine and Squalene.

  6. He's made millions on the rotatec, got it included in the childrens vaccine schedule, he doesn't treat people with autism, who listens to this guy?  He's the last person I would ask for vaccination advice!
