  • Waking up at night and not because she is hungry

My daughter who is now 7 months old wakes up about twice a night not because she is hungry but because she is so used to my husband and I coming to her and putting her pacifier back in. I try to let her cry for a little bit because I know she isn't fully awake but I can't bring myself to do it...

  • Re: How often should a six month-old be waking at night?

Hello! My son is now almost nine months, but I had the same issue when he was six months old. My pediatrician also told us he no longer needed to eat at night, and suggested phasing out the night feedings. I had a difficult time hearing him cry and not responding, but luckily my husband coached me through...

Babies wake for many reasons. We had to do sleep training at six months to get her to sleep at all in her crib. Putting her...

  • Re: Evidence for CIO claims?

When I did this to my 3 year old daughter at 13 months old for a week she stopped meeting my eyes, she didn't smile anymore, she got down to about 7 or 8 hours sleep in any 24 hour period. If that isnt' damage I am not sure what is. This is why my naughty 13 month old son isn't going to get it, i am...

  • Toddler, baby sharing room - no sleep for anyone

My daughter slept a good 5-7 hrs. from 1-month and any troubles we had later were quelched by little bit of modified cry-it-out with comforting. She then slept 12 hrs. and took a 3 hour nap for nearly 2 yrs (we were spoiled). Now she's 2 3/4 yrs old and our son is 8 mo. He's gone from being in a Pac...
