  • CNN and Parenting.com Offer Daddy-Baby Bonding Tips

As a blogging dad, I'm always happy when I come across articles geared towards fathers. It's a major complaint among dads - there's just not a lot of helpful info out there for us. As we know from countless parenting publications and websites, today's dads apparently do little more than work, watch TV...

  • Video: Why Do You Wake Up Each Day?

I love this video. Its message is so very clear and endearing: find something that makes you want to get up in the morning. Find your passion. Find what drives you, what makes you feel alive. Porter was on one side of me, Miles on the other. I saw Miles start to lean forward, so I turned to reach out to grab him. Of course, as soon as...

  • Two Sides Of Daddyhood

I work full-time nights and have my twin lads Porter and Miles for about five hours each day while my wife is at work. I love this arrangement -- I get to spend much more time with them than a lot of fathers do, and I have lots of new mom and dad friends. My sons are as close to me as they are to their...
