Babble

Though Babble bills itself as a magazine and community for the new URBAN parent, clearly urban is a state of mind, and the site is attracting quite a few people living in the burbs. Despite comments i have seen in response to some of the articles here, i don't think everyone is open to the range of lifestyle...

We live close to my family and friends, in NJ, and it's working well for us. We really couldn't afford to live in my husband's hometown (a swanky resort town in England) -- even though the cost of living in NJ is so much higher than in many other parts of this country, it's almost absurdly cheaper here...
