Tina Fey Takes Her Daughter to Work

Tina Fey was spotted taking daughter Alice, 3, to the movies in Santa Monica on Saturday. For a writer and producer like Tina, I guess this could be considered Take Your Daughter to Work Day. At least that's what I call it when I invite my daughters to sit in my office and watch me blog.

I just read that Tina and Robert Downey, Jr. are going to voice characters in a movie for Dreamworks. Titled Oobermind, the movie stars Downey as "a supervillain who pines for the good old days after finally defeating his arch nemesis." It doesn't say what part Tina would play, but I'll bet it's the Gwyneth-Paltrow-Iron-Man-Secretary part. Too bad - Tina would kick ass as the arch nemesis.

Gwyneth Paltrow Takes Moses and Apple for Retail Therapy

Gwyneth Paltrow was seen shopping at the Brentwood Country Mart on Sunday with kids Moses and Apple, a manny and probably around fifty paparazzi. Apple doesn't look like she wants her picture taken by the paps, and Moses looks like he's getting ready to punch whoever it is. And who can blame them? At least it looks like mom picked up some goods at Toy Crazy to make the day worthwhile.

Gwyneth is one busy girl - her new fashion line will be launching in London next week. The actress' fall/winter line, ZOEtee's Loves Gwyneth, is described as a "capsule collection for French design house ZOEtee’s and...[is] influenced by 1970s glam and masculine tailoring."

The proceeds from the line will reportedly be donated to the charity London Kids Company. I'm sure there'll be a little left over for some more toy therapy for the Apple and Moses, too.

Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter Apple is a big fan of The Wiggles, so dad did a little schmoozing on her behalf. After Coldplay's show at Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia, Martin hung out with three of the original members - Jeff Fatt, Murray Cook and Anthony Field. He looks pretty happy here - I wonder who's really the Wiggles devotee in the family.

As further proof of Martin's fandom, Coldplay incorporated The Wiggles' song Fruit Salad into their set that night, and apparently Coldplay's blue, green, red and purple jackets at last month's Grammy Awards drew comparisons to the outfits worn by The Wiggles on their hugely popular TV show.

Let's hope the Martin/Paltrow household doesn't become big Barney fans. I don't think I could bear to see Coldplay do a version of The Clean Up Song.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are splitting up? For the next month, at least. The couple, who have been dogged by divorce rumors over the last few months, will be apart for at least the next several weeks due to what they're calling a 'schedule conflict.'

Paltrow will be in Los Angeles filming Iron Man 2 and Coldplay frontman Martin will be touring New Zealand, Asia and Dubai with his band.

According to Britain's Daily Mail, a source close to the couple said, "Gwyneth flew to LA on Friday to begin filming Iron Man 2. Although it is a simple case of schedule conflict, she and Chris are unlikely to see each other for several weeks."

Paltrow and Martin have two children, Apple, 5, and Moses, 3. No word on which parent the kids will be staying with during the 'separation,' although it would seem logical they would be with Paltrow - a Coldplay tour bus doesn't seem like the best environment for a couple of youngsters. Although, if Britney can do it...

Madonna Tells Gwyneth Paltrow to Shut Her Piehole

When Madonna announced her divorce a few weeks ago, good friend Gwyneth Paltrow rushed to support her. "She's a very good friend. I'm supporting her in all the ways that I can. I'm just there for her. I speak to her a lot," Paltrow said while attending the premiere of her film "Two Lovers" at the London Film Festival. (Oh yeah, that's where she was wearing this dress, so maybe she wasn't thinking too straight.)

But according to the National Enquirer, Madonna thinks friends should be seen and not heard, at least when it comes to talking about the Material Girl's split with Guy Ritchie. “If you want to help me and be supportive of me, then keep your mouth SHUT!” Madonna allegedly told Paltrow. “Say nothing about me or my divorce.”

Harsh. Guess I won't be calling to see how you're dong anytime soon, Madge. Your loss - I was going to bring over some brownies.

Please Give Generously: Gwyneth Paltrow Desperately Needs a Mirror

The only reason I can think of that Gwyneth Paltrow would leave the house in this dress is this: Poor Gwyn can't afford a mirror. I'm thinking she spent all her cash buying designer clothes for kids Moses and Apple and all those strings on hubby Chris Martin's wrist and didn't have any money left in her Prada bag for one of those shiny, reflective things.

And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, you realize she's wearing white panties and a white bra under this monstrosity that she wore to the Paris premiere of her movie "Two Lovers"

So I've got an idea: I'm starting up a collection to buy Gwyneth a mirror. Send in what you can - $5, $10, $20 - I'll see what I can pick up at Target this weekend. Maybe I'll even throw in some appropriate lingerie or better yet, a nice coat in case she decides to wear this dress again.

It looks like Gwyneth Paltrow wasn't just attracted to husband Chris Martin for his rock-star vibe - she also liked the way he could mend the ruffle on her Prada mini.

The Coldplay frontman says that he and his bandmates like nothing better than some time threading the needle. And, no, that isn't a euphemism.

"Making clothes together in our studio makes us feel complete. We probably sound like a group of grannies in a knitting circle but it's the truth and it gives us some control over our visual identity," Martin says.

And while most bands head straight for the Stoli after a big show, Martin says he and the boys like to kick back by hemming their pants. "We see if they have a sewing kit in the amenities draw in case we feel inspired."

"When you are a big band and everyone is taking shots at you, the more things you can do together the better. And if you're wearing uniforms made by your own hands it helps achieve that."

Those mad skillz should come in handy when Chris needs to whip up some nice back-to-school clothes for Apple and Moses.

Madonna & Gwyneth Paltrow's Make Out Session?

I know we all do things before we become parents that we're not always proud of, but it seems like Madonna has a lot of skeletons (well hers are pretty much out in the open) in her proverbial closet. I'm thinking there's not much Madonna could shock us with but I'm surprised that Gwyneth Paltrow would makeout with Madge. Maybe she was drunk? Or desperate? Both? Or, perhaps she was just as surprised as the onlookers...

According to Christoper Ciccone's (Madonna's bro) accounts from his new tell-all, a tongue on tongue session between his sister and Gwyneth took place at a party. Madonna was apparently dancing on a table at Donatella Versace's New Year's Eve bash when she grabbed Paltrow and wanted her to dance. Then, out of the blue (or not), the Like A Virgin (my ass) songstress grabs Gwyn and starts driving her tongue down the young actress's throat.

I'm not sure what happened next, but I'm hoping Gwyneth punched Madonna in the neck.

Not wanting the rest of the snake to go to waste once it's been skinned to make her boots and iPod case, working mom Gwyneth Paltrow uses the reptile's venom as a de-wrinkle treatment for her face. Page Six is reporting that Paltrow was spotted leaving celebrity-frequented Sonya Dakkar salon in Beverly Hills with a cream that contains snake venom. I've heard they get the snake to spit up by forcing it to watch Robin Williams getting his back waxed.

First Catherine Zeta Jones and her caviar hair treatments, and now this. I'm thinking there's some good money to be made by selling celebrities high-priced beauty concoctions made from animal by-products. Which is a good thing, since those vats of lip plumper I made from mouse droppings were starting to go bad in my garage.

Well, only for a few hours a day. Paltrow has come out of mommy-retirement to star with Downey in Iron Man, a big-screen adaptation of the popular comic book. Kids Moses, 4 months and Apple, 3, must be at home with Paltrow's husband Chris Martin, helping him write some new Coldplay songs.

Paltrow was at Comic-Con in San Diego last weekend promoting her new flick and says her previous knowledge of comic books was limited to "my brother's Underoos in 1982." No need to elaborate on that, Gwyneth.
