Kate Hudson Dumps Dax Shepard, Takes Up With Old, Rich Guy

Kate Hudson has bucked Hollywood tradition and reportedly traded in her young, virile boyfriend for an older, richer model. Hudson, 28, broke up with actor Dax Shepard and has been seen around New York with 55-year old billionaire financier Ron Burkle.

Shepard is said to be crushed by the breakup and didn't know he'd been replaced. "Dax got a phone call about it from a friend," a source tells OK!. Hudson's new squeeze (squish?) is a supermarket billionaire from Beverly Hills, with a personal wealth of over $2.1 billion. I guess 'going all night' couldn't compare to a lifetime supply of Prada bags.

Tiger Woods Will Never Be Lacking in Balls

Tiger Woods recently won the FedEx Cup and was rewarded a $10 million retirement annuity by the shipping company. That'll buy a lot of golf balls, and also lots of those pointy things that hold the ball still so you can hit it. Oh yeah - tees.

Woods' wife Elin Nordegren sent a letter to FedEx thanking them for making her family rich. "Your generosity and your $10 million retirement annuity will allow my husband, Tiger Woods, a comfortable retirement...and your overall kindness [is] going to give our newborn daughter, Sam Alexis Woods...a chance at a future." I'm wondering if she sent the letter by UPS.

$10 million is a lot of cash. I don't know about you, but I'm in the wrong business. Anybody want to teach me how to swing one of those heavy metal sticks? I mean, a club.

Dannielynn Birkhead's First Birthday Party; DNA Kits to be Given Out As Party Favors

Larry 'I Told You So' Birkhead is planning on inviting two-hundred of his closest friends over to celebrate daughter Dannielynn's first birthday which is on September 7. You may remember that after Dannielynn's mom Anna Nicole Smith passed away, Birkhead went up against everyone from Smith's crazy mom to Zsa Zsa Gabor's naked husband to bring his baby home. Maybe you're not familiar with the whole custody battle - it was a little known news item that got absolutely no press.

The party will take place on September 8 in Louisville, Kentucky at the home of Tricia Barnstable Brown -- reportedly 'the same spot that Daddy Larry first met Anna Nicole'. I'm assuming they don't mean that literally, and if they do I'm wondering how they're going to fit two-hundred people on a mattress in the guest room.

Kelly Ripa Goes Jurassic

Kelly Ripa's son Joaquin, 4, is one lucky kid. He got to visit the set of his mom's show, Live with Regis and Kelly for a special segment they were doing on dinosaurs. He doesn't look very happy about it, though, and I'm thinking maybe mom's co-host scared him. As you can see in that second picture Regis has gotten pretty wrinkly and has a terrible overbite.

This is so un-American of me, but I've never watched Live with Regis and Kelly. In fact, I never watched it when it was Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, either. I figure I still have plenty of time, since I think that through a combination of cryogenics and animatronics Regis will manage to be on the show for eternity with an endless string of co-hosts. I'm looking forward to catching Live with Regis and Shiloh in thirty years or so.

Clive Owen Gushes About Wife and Kids, Seems Hotter Than Ever

If you ask me, there's nothing sexier than a man who keeps his pants on...at work. In an interview with Playboy magazine, Clive Owen gives props to his wife, Sarah-Jane and two daughters Hannah and Eve and says he would never give in to the temptation of an on-set romance. "I so value what I've got at home with my wife and kids that I've never f----ed with that...For me, that's what it's about." Maybe Owen should have a little talk with Brad Pitt and Dean McDermott.

Coincidentally, Owen co-starred onscreen with both the former and the present Mrs. Brad Pitt - Jennifer Aniston in Derailed and Angelina Jolie in Beyond Borders. There's probably a lewd joke in there somewhere involving a three-way but I'm just not seeing it right now.

Robin Givens Doesn't Think Brad Pitt is Da Bomb

Robin Givens, seen here with sons William and Michael, doesn't know what Angelina Jolie sees in Brad Pitt. Givens, who dated Pitt in the '80s, has this to say about the current Mr. Jolie. "I don't know if I find him to be so fascinating, to be perfectly honest...Whenever I see him in the magazines with Angelina Jolie I just crack up." Me too, Robin, but it's only because he insists on wearing that hat everywhere.

Of course, I don't know if Givens should be writing any 'How To' books on finding the perfect man. After her relationship with Pitt, Givens went on to date and then marry boxer/ear-biter Mike Tyson and then divorced him after only a year amid claims of spousal abuse.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world eagerly awaits to see if Pitt and Givens will reunite to reprise their roles in a movie version of "21 Jump Street."

I Can't Stop Talking About Nicole Richie's Pregnancy

Where were you when you first heard that Nicole Richie was pregnant? I ask because I consider it one of those defining moments in history that people will be talking about for years to come, like the first moon landing, or the fall of the Berlin Wall, or finding out that Liberace was gay. I mean, I just thought he was a lifelong bachelor that dug sequins.

These are the first pictures I've seen of Richie where she actually looks pregnant. What cracks me up is, in the second picture she appears to look down at her belly and startles herself with the strange blob that's protruding from what was previously just some skin barely covering her rib cage. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees the size of her first pair of maternity jeans.

Tiger Woods: I Heart Sam Alexis

Fatherhood agrees with Tiger Woods, and it's sweet to hear him gush about baby Sam Alexis, the first child for him and wife Elin. "It was a dream come true for both Elin and myself."

And a mere fourteen days after her birth he's already talking about having another one. In describing becoming a parent he says, "We never experienced anything like that. That was special and something that we want to experience again."

Ah, sleep deprivation makes you say the wackiest things.

Britney Spears is/has a Crazy Mother...

According to AHN, Britney Spears is filing a restraining order against her mother. She is taking this step to keep her mom, Lynne, away from her two sons. She claims that her mother is abusing prescription pain medication and Britney doesn't want her spending time with her boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

This concerns me, because who would be with the boys then? I see hundreds of pictures of Britney every day, and do you know why we don't use them here at FameCrawler? Because she never has her kids with her. She has Uggs, nipples and big, stupid glasses, but no babies.

Not only is she mad at her mother for having an alleged problem, but she is deciding to shun her rather than take the steps to help her like Lynne and (gulp!) K-Fed did, sort of, when the tables were turned.

She blames her mom and K-Fed for putting her in rehab, yet she still lets her boys (and her girls too, nudge, nudge) go over to their daddy's place without concern. Which is, of course, concerning. As you can see, I have nothing but concern for this family. Actually, I really am concerned for the boys. I hope someone steps up and provides these kids some shelter and a bit of sanity.

The scary thing is I'm looking at you K-Fed.

Suri, Daughter of a Preacher Man

Katie, the bump, the mom shag, Tom, and Suri, are seen here getting ready to descend to our level. Apparently Tom "Top Gun" Cruise has reached the highest level of crazy, and can, and may, perform wedding ceremonies.

The top level is called 'Clear' or 'The Larry Bird' to some people. Some people being me and Michael Jordan.

I actually performed a wedding ceremony for some friends this past summer, so I have some advice for Tom: Stand on a phone book so the people in the cheap seats can see you. They're paying good money you know.
