Dylan McDermott and Shiva Rose Have Irreconcilable Differences

Dylan McDermott has filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years, Shiva Rose. The couple, who separated in March of 2007, have two daughters, Collette, 12, and Charlotte, 2. Custody will be decided at a later date.

The papers, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, cite the usual 'Irreconcilable Differences' as the reason for the split.

What the hell does that mean? Not to be nosy, but I want some details. Did he leave the toilet seat up too many times? Does she chew with her mouh open? Remember - I ask the uncomfortable questions so you don't have to.

Britney Spears Denied Custody. Will She Get Her Kids Back? You Decide!

In a ruling handed down today, L.A. Court Commissioner Scott Gordon denied Britney Spears joint custody of sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Gordon granted Spears only two daytime visits and one overnight stay per week, all of which must be supervised. Unconfirmed reports say that Spears is trying to petition the commissioner to have those visits supervised by her Chihuahua, London.

In light of damaging testimony presented by Britney's court-appointed parenting coach, the court also ordered that Spears must:

· Get her homes childproofed by November 2.

· Meet with coach Hacker for two hours every week.

· Ensure that Sean and Jayden are properly secured in a child safety seat whenever she drives with them.

Britney Spears was at Swings n' Things in Calabasas on Thursday to buy a jungle gym for sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Hey - I bought my kids a playhouse at this very same place last summer. And coincidentally, I was hotly pursued by a bunch of people there as well, although they were just trying to catch me after I tried to leave without signing my check.

The rumor is that Britney is being advised by her people to be seen doing 'child-related' activities in order to make an impression on the judge overseeing her custody battle. Which is why you recently saw her leaving a drugstore carrying miniature pumpkins and candy and not cigarettes and cheetos like you usually do. I heard that the next time she flashes her panties she'll have on a special pair that say, 'Come to Mama.'

Baby Come Back: Britney Spears Regains Visitation Rights AGAIN

Are you following this craziness? Britney Spears has regained visitation rights with her sons, after having them temporarily suspended on Friday, which came after being granted visitation previous to that. People magazine is reporting that Spears was spotted driving around Studio City with sons Sean and Jayden in the back seat. An individual presumed to be a court-ordered monitor was seated in the front seat. All remaining empty spaces in the car were jammed full of empty Starbucks cups and tanning salon receipts.

I'm hoping Britney doesn't do anything else that needs to be written about this weekend. I need to get to some other important things, like alphabetizing my soup cans and picking the lint out of my kids' navels.

Britney Spears Scientific Finding No. 237: Starbucks Contains Crack

I've decided to give up sleeping and had some time on my hands, so I took on a little scientific experiment. I studied all 9,236,450 pictures of Britney Spears taken over the last two years, and she was carrying a Starbucks cup in every single one except for THREE! Shocking, I know.

In one of them the drink was being carried by her manny and in another she had set her cup down to shave her head. The third one was onstage at the VMAs but I heard she had two Frappuccinos stuffed in the back of her shorts so maybe that one doesn't count.

What's going on? Maybe it's premature to say that the coffee drinks are crack-laced, but how else to explain her addiction? I'm going to study this further, but don't worry - I'll use my science for good, not evil. In fact, the first thing I'm going to do is smear little Sean and Jayden with espresso powder and see if Britney gets the sudden urge to start carrying them more.

Denise Richards Needs More Room For Her Crazy

Denise Richards has a lot of crap. Must be true, as she's ditching her 5,188-sq.-ft. home for a larger one. Seems her current hovel, which only has five bedrooms, an office, a gym, horse facilities, a pool and a spa, is too small for Richards and daughters Sam, 3, and Lola, 2. Those Barbies take up a lot of space, I know.

Richards, who is involved in a nasty custody dispute with ex Charlie Sheen, has already bought a new 5,600 sq.-ft. home in the same area as her old one. That gives the 75-pound actress and her two teeny toddlers 412 extra square feet of space. I could take care of that with 2 trips to Costco.

Britney Spears is seen here buying lunch for sons Sean and Jayden.

Earlier it was reported that Spears had taken a drug test and passed. She also spent most of Monday with her sons, accompanied by a parenting coach. Before that she was seen trying to cause an explosion by smoking a cigarette while sitting in her car at a gas pump.

True, just a list of things we all do in a normal weekend, but when you're Britney Spears it's just a little bit more special.

Britney Spears: Talkin' Bout My Intervention

Looks like that little visit from Britney's mom and sister wasn't to paint each other's toenails after all. Though it appeared that they were just visiting to offer Spears a little TLC, OK! Magazine is reporting that mom Lynne and sister Jamie Lynn flew in from Louisiana to stage an intervention with the pop star, and that Brit's ex Kevin Federline was reportedly seen arriving at her Malibu home as well.

OK! later reported that the visit didn't go very well, as Spears was seen storming out of the house where she had been "locked in a marathon intervention session" for several hours. Spears then drove around Santa Monica before heading to her other home in the Hollywood Hills. Nice to have another mansion to escape to when the people in your other mansion are just trying to bring you down, man.

What do you suppose took place during that intervention? Something tells me the scene inside was probably straight out of the Jerry Springer show, with Lynne crying, Britney and Jamie Lynn taking swings at each other and Kevin yelling at the ladies to take off their clothes and wrestle it out.

Britney Spears and Mom Lynne: Reunited and It Feels So Good...For Now

Britney Spears and her strange and estranged mother Lynne were reunited on Friday, two days after Spears lost custody of her children. The quarreling mother-daughter duo had last seen each other in September after a long separation, making this two meetings in just under a month. Next thing you know these two BFFs will be sipping Frappuccinos together and tattooing each others names on their butts.

A source tells People magazine that Britney needed some maternal guidance after her tumultuous week, so Lynne and little sister Jamie Lynn flew in from Louisiana to comfort her and spend time together at her Malibu home. Any wagers on how long this latest reunion lasts? I give it three days before Brit wants to throw mama from the train.
