My Chemical Baby: Gerard Way Becomes a Father

My Chemical Romance lead singer Gerard Way and his wife Lyn-Z welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday. Bandit Lee Way was born in Los Angeles at 2:57 p.m. and weighs 6 lbs., 5.6 oz. The poor thing apparently had no say in what her name would be.

I would never name my daughter Bandit, but then again I would never wear a leather jacket over a hoodie so that shows you how old-fogeyish I am.

A rep for the couple says, "Everyone is healthy and happy."

Congrats you two! Don't mind my jokes about the baby's name!

Chyler Leigh Welcomes Daughter Anniston

Grey's Anatomy star Chyler Leigh and her husband, actor Nathan West, welcomed a baby girl yesterday morning. And true to a statement the actress made earlier this year, the couple gave her the same name as a certain Friends star, with a slight spelling change: Anniston.

According to EOnline.com, Anniston Kae was born at 7:12 a.m. this morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A., and weighed 7 pounds. "Both mother and child are healthy," says a rep for Leigh.

Anniston joins siblings Noah Wilde, 5 and Taelyn Leigh, 2.

Could a little Cox-Arquette and Kudrow be far behind?

Jools Oliver, wife of chef Jamie Oliver, was spotted taking daughters Poppy, 7 Daisy, 5 and 3 week old Petal Blossom Rainbow out for a walk in North London. I'm a fan of Jamie's, but mostly I wanted to write about them because I just like saying those names over and over again; Poppy, Daisy, Petal. It makes me feel like I'm floating on a marshmallow cloud.

It's a good thing the couple had daughters - could they have come up with names in the flower family if they had three boys? Bark, Stem and Root just doesn't sound right to me.

Ashlee & Bronx: Melrose Place Cuties!

Ashlee Simpson, who is now a working mom - starring in the new CW revamped Melrose Place - brought her son Bronx to the set and he sure is a sweet baby!

Ashlee decided to take the Melrose Place gig because it offered her work without having to travel or be far from her son.

A pal said, "She was specifically looking for something in television as her next step, that filmed in Los Angeles, so she wouldn't have to be away from Bronx. Music is still a passion but [Ashlee] felt this was the best thing for her and her family at this point in her life. She's really excited about Melrose Place."

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were married May 17, 2008 and welcomed their first child, son Bronx, four months ago and things seemed like they were going well for the musical couple. However, according to sources, their marriage is on the rocks and "just isn't working."

Simpson and Wentz attended the 2009 MTV Australia Awards Friday night and seemed happy enough. They appeared to be more in love than ever and were all smiles and sunshine.

But, things aren't always what they seem. A friend said, "Ashlee thinks Pete doesn't pay her enough attention and is out partying too much. He needs to work on their marriage more."

Another pal dished, "Ashlee is feeling a bit neglected [by Pete] in recent weeks... Pete does seem kind of bored lately, and he doesn't talk about Ashlee like he used to. The gushing has stopped."

A lot of new parents go through this - trying to get into a new routine once the baby comes, and sometimes forgetting to pay attention to their relationship as a couple.

The friend added, "Ashlee and Pete are on the rocks. He is going out all the time and she's stuck at home. It's just not working."

Ashlee feels like all she's doing is changing diapers and doing feedings, while Pete is out having fun.

Perhaps they should make time for each other, and Ashlee should get out with friends and let Pete take over with Bronx once in a while! Hopefully they'll make it work - having a baby changes a lot and you really have to find time to remember you're a couple too.

Remember when everyone thought that M.I.A. had gone and given her baby that crazy name, Ickitt? And then she came out and said, no way would I give my baby a stupid name like that? Well, don't worry - she's finally released the baby's real name, and it's...Ikhyd.

TMZ has gotten it's hands on the baby's birth certificate, and his official name is Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman.

And we thought she was going to give him one of those unusual baby names.

Well, I guess the little guy can always just call himself 'Ed' for short.

Here's a great close-up of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz' baby Bronx Mowgli. That there is one seriously cute baby. Sure he's got a weird name, but something about that face makes me forgive that. Oh, those eyes.

In fact, after staring into those deep baby blues for a few minutes I'm willing to forgive Bronx for anything bad he may have done in his life. Cried all night? That's okay. Spit up on mom's Prada blouse? No problem. Now I'm getting the feeling Bronx can make me hand over all the candy in my purse. Here, Bronx - take my car keys...I'm getting sleepy...

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are taking up acting - doing a guest spot on CSI. The couple filmed the episode just two months after their first child, Bronx Mowgli, was born. Pete said it was easy playing his character because he had Ashlee by his side. "It's easy to play passionate roles with the person you love."

Pete and Ashlee play a husband and wife Bonnie and Clyde-type couple and the episode will air on March 18.

Wentz was hoping to "be murdered or rob a bank," but said he'd heard "the make-up is much longer for that."

The clip is short, so it's hard to say if they have many lines but based on what I see, I'm thinking they should stick to music. Ashlee does look cute though, especially for just having had a baby two months prior. She said she wasn't in a rush to lose the baby weight, but somehow, it seemed to fall off of her. Damn her.

I wonder if baby Bronx will want to be in the biz when he gets older? Will he have musical chops like his parents or will he get the acting bug? Or... maybe he'll end up as an accountant! Now, that'd be funny.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted in London with the latest celebrity accessory - the baby carrier. With the baby boom taking place among celebrities these days, the ubiquitous infant utility seems to be replacing the Birkin Bag. But as you can see, when you're emo nothing will ever replace your black jeans and hoodies.

The couple were in England for a string of shows by Wentz's band Fall Out Boy. That's the name of Pete's band, not what is going to happen with Bronx and that baby carrier.

Please Give Generously: Gwyneth Paltrow Desperately Needs a Mirror

The only reason I can think of that Gwyneth Paltrow would leave the house in this dress is this: Poor Gwyn can't afford a mirror. I'm thinking she spent all her cash buying designer clothes for kids Moses and Apple and all those strings on hubby Chris Martin's wrist and didn't have any money left in her Prada bag for one of those shiny, reflective things.

And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, you realize she's wearing white panties and a white bra under this monstrosity that she wore to the Paris premiere of her movie "Two Lovers"

So I've got an idea: I'm starting up a collection to buy Gwyneth a mirror. Send in what you can - $5, $10, $20 - I'll see what I can pick up at Target this weekend. Maybe I'll even throw in some appropriate lingerie or better yet, a nice coat in case she decides to wear this dress again.
