Britney Spears Parties With Tony Romo Who I Thought Owned a Restaurant

Okay, I don't know crap about football, so I have to admit when I first saw the headlines I thought "Well, the guy sure knows how to barbecue a good rib." Of course, turns out it wasn't Tony Roma she's hanging out with, but Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. If you ask me she'd be better off with someone who knows how to cook a pigskin than throw one, but that's just me.

After her long court hearing on Friday Spears and friend/cousin/lover Alli Sims met up with Romo and his posse at L.A. restaurant Ketchup and then headed over to hotspot Les Deux. E! Online reports that Spears changed her outfit three times during the evening. Who the eff cares? All I know is now I'm hungry for big plate of baby backs and a side of cole slaw.

Baby Come Back: Britney Spears Regains Visitation Rights AGAIN

Are you following this craziness? Britney Spears has regained visitation rights with her sons, after having them temporarily suspended on Friday, which came after being granted visitation previous to that. People magazine is reporting that Spears was spotted driving around Studio City with sons Sean and Jayden in the back seat. An individual presumed to be a court-ordered monitor was seated in the front seat. All remaining empty spaces in the car were jammed full of empty Starbucks cups and tanning salon receipts.

I'm hoping Britney doesn't do anything else that needs to be written about this weekend. I need to get to some other important things, like alphabetizing my soup cans and picking the lint out of my kids' navels.

Britney Spears Scientific Finding No. 237: Starbucks Contains Crack

I've decided to give up sleeping and had some time on my hands, so I took on a little scientific experiment. I studied all 9,236,450 pictures of Britney Spears taken over the last two years, and she was carrying a Starbucks cup in every single one except for THREE! Shocking, I know.

In one of them the drink was being carried by her manny and in another she had set her cup down to shave her head. The third one was onstage at the VMAs but I heard she had two Frappuccinos stuffed in the back of her shorts so maybe that one doesn't count.

What's going on? Maybe it's premature to say that the coffee drinks are crack-laced, but how else to explain her addiction? I'm going to study this further, but don't worry - I'll use my science for good, not evil. In fact, the first thing I'm going to do is smear little Sean and Jayden with espresso powder and see if Britney gets the sudden urge to start carrying them more.

Earlier it was reported that Spears had taken a drug test and passed. She also spent most of Monday with her sons, accompanied by a parenting coach. Before that she was seen trying to cause an explosion by smoking a cigarette while sitting in her car at a gas pump.

True, just a list of things we all do in a normal weekend, but when you're Britney Spears it's just a little bit more special.

Britney Spears: Honey, I Lost The Kids

Like many people, I'm feeling pretty sad for Britney's sons, Sean and Jayden after a judge ordered them removed from their mother's custody. I was also feeling bad for Britney, until I read about some of the reasons L.A. County Commissioner Scott Gordon came down on her so hard. According to documents obtained by TMZ, she was give plenty of chances to keep the 50/50 custody agreement as it was, but ignored the court at every turn. Including the following:

She was ordered to submit to drug testing, which she didn't do
She was ordered to meet with a drug counselor, which she didn't do
She was ordered to enroll in parenting classes, which she didn't do
She was required to sign the judge's order (couldn't find a pen?), which she didn't do

And the last straw? Last Friday Commissioner Gordon prohibited Spears or Federline from driving the children unless they had a valid California Driver's license. Today Gordon saw video of Spears driving her kids around Malibu and decided to take action. Doesn't Britney know not to mess with the Commish?

Should Britney Spears Be on Suicide Watch? The Nanny Thinks So

The decision by an L.A. judge to hand over custody of Britney Spears' two sons to Kevin Federline shocked many, but one person isn't surprised. A former Spears' nanny tells OK! Magazine, "It's about damned time."

But she warns that Spears should be watched carefully in the next few days. "I’m just hoping that something doesn’t happen between now and Wednesday. She’s definitely capable of doing something stupid.”

Is anyone close to Spears watching and listening? Because the whole situation, while clearly expected by many is still sad for everyone involved, especially the kids. Let's hope it doesn't get worse.

Britney Spears Loses Custody of Kids

Access Hollywood is reporting that Britney Spears has lost custody of her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. A court order states that Britney must hand over the children to ex-husband Kevin Federline by this Wednesday, October 3. The order also states that Federline will retain custody "until further notice of the court."

Ahoy, Matey! Clearly, Britney Spears is wearing this outfit just to make it easier for us writers struggling to come up with headlines for the gazillion stories a day we do about her. Because, really, there can't be any other reason for anyone to wear this getup. Can you think of one? I can't.

This one photo inspired me with gems such as, 'Arghh! What's in Britney's Treasure Chest?' and 'Finally, Britney Covers Up Her Pirate's Booty.' Flashes of genius, I know. I'm even working on one that uses a reference to 'Long John Silver' that's gonna just kill. Give me a few minutes, I'll get back to you.

Lynne Spears to Britney: Come to Mama!

Britney Spears is reaching out for help, and not just to her weave specialist and the local Starbucks barista. Spears had a visit over the weekend with her estranged mother, Lynne, of all people. The reunion reportedly took place at Spears' Malibu home and lasted a whole 90 minutes. That's 80 minutes longer than Gimme More stayed on the charts.

The photo above was obviously taken in better times, back when the two still had a warm relationship and Britney still had a career. Last weekend's meeting was the first between mother and daughter in over three months. Relations became strained in May when Britney failed to visit Lynne on Mother's Day, and then escalated when Lynne began visiting her grandsons, Sean and Jayden, while they were staying with Britney's ex Kevin Federline.

Although I guess I'd be pissed, too, if I found out my mom was hangin' with Kevin Federline. I mean, what if she came home trying to rap and her pants were slung below her butt crack? That would be like, bad.

With the news that Kevin Federline will now be a regular on the CW's One Tree Hill, Britney Spears may be able to cut his allowance down a bit. A good thing, because all those do-rags, gold chains and penicillin prescriptions can really put a strain on a girl's wallet.

The fake-rapper/bad-dancer apparently impressed the cast and crew with his acting abilities during a recent guest appearance on the show and has now been asked back for a recurring role. Impressing the cast on a CW show with your acting skills? Is that difficult? It seems like it would be comparable to impressing a squirrel with your juggling moves.
