Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge Are Not Going to the Chapel

Britney Spears' little sister Jamie Lynn and her baby daddy Casey Aldridge have called off their wedding. Again. My memory's a little foggy, but I could have sworn these two had already called off their wedding awhile ago, after breaking up and then getting back together again. Imagine how confusing it must be for their baby daughter Maddie.

“The wedding’s off,” a source close to the couple reveal to OK! magazine. “They are still in love, living together and very happy, but they have no plans to get married. Jamie Lynn has everything she wants and feels no need for a ring and piece of paper.” Call me cynical, but that sounds like it was taken right out a textbook for PR 101.

Another source adds, “She and Casey have weathered a lot in their young relationship already and don’t need the pressure of making wedding plans.”

In their defense, they were spotted looking like quite the happy couple while in New Orleans for Britney's Circus tour, so maybe these two have decided to put off getting married until their absolutely ready, instead of rushing into it for the sake of Maddie.

Sorry, I was just fantasizing.

Britney Spears Leaves The Circus to Perform a Good Deed

Sure I make fun of her concert costumes and her driving, but when Britney Spears does a good deed I'm willing to give her the props she deserves. The singer took a break from her Circus tour on Saturday to visit 40 sick children at Miami Children's Hospital. "She took pictures with the kids and gave them autographed pictures," hospital spokesperson Cristene Martinez tells People magazine. "The kids were so excited to meet Britney, and having her here was a great distraction for them."

Spears also made a $100,000 donation to Big Apple Circus Clown Care, a hospital program that uses clowns who have medical training to visit the children on a regular basis and attend special events at the hospital.

Britney should do more community outreach like this - it's encouraging to see her being a good role model for sons Jayden and Sean. Good job, Britney - even though it's the name of your show, it's nice to see your life is a little bit less of a circus these days.

Britney Spears Does Disney World

Britney Spears took time off from her Circus tour to take sons Sean Preston and Jayden James to Disney World. The boys are accompanying their mom on her tour, so this must have been a nice break for the kids. I'm sure hanging out in the Magic Kingdom riding Dumbo sure beats hanging out backstage with a bunch of roadies who are passed out after too many hits on the bong. Although I'm sure in a few years those boys will prefer the latter.

Here's the singer and her assistant taking Jayden on the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway. Lucky for Britney there were no car seats required.

Britney Spears Concert: This Ain't Your Mama's Outfit. Oh Wait - It Is!

My tween girls really got on my case the other day for wearing my sweats to the grocery store. They called them my pajamas, though, since I had slept in them the night before and I had to admit they had a point. I'm wondering what Britney Spears' sons Jayden and Sean are going to think once they get a gander of their mommy's concert costumes. Sure they're stage costumes and are supposed to be over the top, but you have to agree it's a little weird seeing your mom dressed up as a naughty cop, or prancing around in a nude bodysuit with tassels hanging off her boobies. Although, come to think of it her kids probably see this kind of stuff everyday.

Which of These Britneys is Watching the Kids?

TMZ posted a picture of Britney Spears and her new Madame Tussauds wax figure and I'm so lame I couldn't tell which one was real. Can you?

They look so much alike I'll bet even Britney's sons Jayden and Sean couldn't tell which one was the real thing. Except maybe the wax Britney is a better driver.

I'm thinking this wax figure could come in real handy for Britney since she's getting ready to take the kids on tour with her. Wax Britney could 'watch' Jayden and Sean while real Britney dances and lip synchs on stage. Then again, wax Britney could do that, too.

(Oh, in case you're wondering - the one on the left is made out of wax. The one on the right just looks like she's going to melt. )

Britney's Sons Will Be Able to Rock n' Roll All Night, Party Every Day

Sean Preston and Jayden James pack your bags - you're going on tour with mommy! After saying earlier that she would cancel her shows if she couldn't take her sons with her, it's being reported that Britney Spears will be taking them along on her upcoming Circus tour. It's like 'Take Your Daughters To Work Day,' except this is for sons and it lasts twelve months.

"Britney is so excited to kick off her tour," reads an excerpt of a statement on her website, BritneySpears.com. "She has been enjoying every moment of rehearsals and is looking forward to performing in front of a live audience again. Both Sean Preston and Jayden James will, in fact, be joining Britney throughout the duration of her tour."

I know this is good news for Britney, but you have to wonder what life on the road will be like for Sean, 3, and Jayden, 2. Will they be able to keep in touch with dad Kevin Federline on Skype? Will they know what to say to the groupies? What will they do when someone passes them the bong?

Hot Off The Press: Britney Spears' OK! Magazine Cover Story

Britney Spears is on the cover of the new OK! Magazine, and I have to admit she looks totally normal. There's not an ambulance or cocktail or paparazzi fistfight in sight. She even looks like she's probably wearing panties underneath that dress.

This is apparently the first interview that Britney's done in two years and she candidly talks about her father, her career and sons Jayden and Sean. Asked if she would want her children to pursue a career in entertainment as she did at a very young age, Spears answered, “I’d rather not,. But but I’d love them unconditionally if they wanted to. I’d just as soon they have a more normal childhood.”

Of seeing her younger sister Jamie Lynn give birth earlier this year at the young age of sixteen Spears says, "I was shocked a little bit,. She’s always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling."

Spears father was also present at the interview, and he shed some light on how Britney's recent tumultuous life has strengthened their father-daughter bond. "God has a way of taking something bad and turning it into something good. If this hadn’t happened, I would never have been able to get back with my daughter and have this relationship I have with these two little boys."

And proving that Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib can make even Kevin Federline seem like a stellar individual, the elder Spears had some good things to say about his former son-in-law. “Kevin is all for everything. He wants her to have 50/50 custody. He wants them to raise these kids together. Kevin’s heart is right.”

And in case you've forgotten - Britney used to be an international pop superstar and has an album that will be released in six to nine months. "I’m writing every day, right here at the piano in this living room... This is my best work ever."

If you can read everything you read in OK! magazine, it sounds like a new and improved Britney. Let's hope it's true - although I do miss those crazy pictures of her buying cases of Red Bull at 7-Eleven.

Lynne Spears' New Book, or 'How To Throw Away $24.99'

Put down your dog-eared copy of War and Peace - Lynne Spears' new book is about to be released! The 272-page tome, written by Britney's mom and titled, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, is set to hit the shelves on September 16. Who says there aren't any literary masterpieces being created anymore?

According to E! Online, Barnes & Noble prereviews say the book "describes how Lynne was an ordinary mother changed by the success of her daughter Britney and how it pushed the family onto the worldwide stage." Also promised are some juicy stories about Jamie Lynn, son Bryan and ex-husband Jamie.

The book will retail for $24.99. I'm going to start camping out now for the midnight release party! Hopefully I'll catch a glimpse of Adnan.

Jamie Lynn Spears' Baby Is Casey Aldridge Meal Ticket

Looks like Casey Aldridge wants a piece of the pie, and he's anxious to marry Jamie Lynn in order to get it. Well, obviously he already had himself a piece, which is what got Jamie Lynn in trouble in the first place. But now Aldridge is reportedly in a hurry to tie the knot in order to share in the big bucks that will be coming Jamie Lynn's way once she sells her baby pictures.

Jamie Lynn gave birth to Maddie Briann this morning and now many are speculating how long before the 17-year old new mom and her 19-year-old baby daddy tie the knot. It was rumored that Aldridge had wanted a quickie wedding while Spears was still pregnant, but obviously he missed the boat on that one.

While there isn't definitive word on who will have exclusive rights to the first peek at little Maddie, odds are pointing to OK! Magazine, who scored big when they were the first to announce Jamie Lynn's pregnancy.

Whatever the case, expect Casey Aldridge to be first in line at that gravy train.

Britney Spears Dines With Her Non-Pregnant Sibling

You gotta feel for Bryan Spears, Britney's big brother. Talk about getting lost in the shuffle - the poor guy probably feels like he needs to have a breakdown, or get a 16-year-old pregnant just to get some attention from parents Lynne and Jamie.

Britney and her bro were spotted dining out at Brentwood eatery Peppone last week. I wonder if Britney's sons Sean and Jayden ever get to see Uncle Bryan. He doesn't look like a creepy old uncle, the one who smells like salami and gin and asks you to pull his finger.

Speaking of creepy guys that smell like salami and gin, whatever happened to Sam Lutfi?
