(OK, I do mean spies, only they don't have cool gadgets and stuff.)

Now, if there is real discrimination going on, that's a bad thing of course. But based on the limited information in the article, it doesn't sound that cut and dry. At worst, the people misbehaving would appear to be the landlords. Note that I have absolutely no idea what the specifics of the law are. But telling someone that a landlord doesn't want children in an apartment because it contains lead paint might actually be a good thing, right?

image: designofsignage.com

Mommy, Can You Tell the Driver to Take Me to Chuck E. I am not kidding. There are so many 3 - 5 year olds in this prestigious preschool that have their own chauffeurs that all of the cars idling out front have become a problem.

The school administration had to ask the families to tell their drivers to drive around the block while the parents or nanny escorted each child into school because sometime the big black Escalades would be lines up three deep. They were blocking traffic and it is dangerous for little kids to be walking between all of these parked cars.

Some parents say that this is just the way things are on the Upper East Side. Apparently they have a really bitchin' playroof. I guess you have to have some serious money to score that kind of play area in Manhattan.
