Kate Hudson Plays Step-Mommy to Lance Armstrong's Children

Lance Armstrong was in my neck of the woods over the weekend to help raise $1 million dollars for cancer research, and Kate Hudson tagged along for the 'ride.'

Kate entertained son Ryder and Lance's three kids, Luke, 8, and 6-year-old twin girls Grace and Isabelle, busy while Lance was busy with the race event.

Now I doubt she's ready for the role of step-mom, but I bet they had a good time in Toronto and Kitchener!

"He was laughing and she was laughing and they put their arms around each other," says one observer of the embrace. "It was sweet."

Before the race, the pair had a mini vacation in Northern Ontario, where Hudson's Mom Goldie Hawn has a cottage.

Angelina Jolie: Remembering Her Mom One Year After Her Death

Angelina Jolie's mom, Marcheline Bertrand, passed away one year ago today. Jolie and her brother James Haven will mark the anniversary of her death with a day long vigil.

The siblings will visit Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai hospital where Marcheline passed away, at age 57 of ovarian cancer. Angelina will be donating money to the hospital for it's women's cancer research fund.

Angie and James will visit their mother's grave and reminisce about her with Jolie's four kids, showing them photographs of Marcheline. They also plan to prepare their mom's favorite meal - thick vegetable soup.

A family friend said, "James and Angelina adored their mother. They want this day to be soley dedicated to her memory."

According to their friend, Jamies is worried about Angelina and added, "Angie still weeps for her a lot of and James has been saying how he's worried she will fall apart on Sunday."
