the new york learning league has a half day program, it offers both intergrated and special needs classes... some public schools will accomadate half day kids but there is usually assessments involved... most kindergartens though because of the ny standards for learning are full day to prepare for first grade.. if your child is on the young side you might be better off looking for a prek/k classroom (also hard to find but worth it) many of these classes offer halfday
