When will "they" return to normal?

By "they", I mean my boobs. I'm a first time mom to a 11 month old and haven't breastfed in about 1-2 months. Since then my boobs have wilted into little pancakes! For the first time in my life I'm self-conscious of them. Do they ever perk up again? I'd love it if someone, anyone, could share their experience!

My son is just over 12 months and I've been done breastfeeding for almost 6 months. Mine are still kind of deflated. I found a great pushup bra at Victoria's Secret though that is full coverage so it doesn't push up up up just enough to give me back some normal lift. I too hope they return to "normal" sometime soon.

I have a 5 year old son and breastfed him for 6 months. It took a few years but I assure you they do get back to normal : ).

        *  Usually, about six months after a woman stops nursing, her breasts usually start regaining their pre-pregnancy appearance, though there are some cases where it may even take up to a few years.

        * Generally, bigger breasts seem to experience more sagging. Therefore, smaller breasts may seem to retain their original shape better.

        * The process of the breasts returning to their original look is supported by breastfeeding and later, by weaning the baby gradually.

        * As the natural elasticity of the tissues in the breasts continues to wear with time, some amount of sagging due to age is inevitable.

I'm afraid "they" never exactly look and feel the same again after pregnancy and breastfeeding. I am small-breasted (about 34B) and slim. I breastfed for about 6 months, ending about four years ago. I have been at my pre-pregnancy weight since around the time I quit breastfeeding, and my breasts are more or less the same size as they were, but they are much less dense and sort of flat on top--less perky, I guess. I had to toss most of my old bras, and I find that many 34B styles no longer fit well (34A isn't right, either). Too bad, but the trade-off was worthwhile.
