Waking up at night and not because she is hungry

My daughter who is now 7 months old wakes up about twice a night not because she is hungry but because she is so used to my husband and I coming to her and putting her pacifier back in.  I try to let her cry for a little bit because I know she isn't fully awake but I can't bring myself to do it.  I know she isn't hungry because when I do try to feed her she may only take an ounce if that and it just wakes her up even more.  I have to try and be stronger and not go to her at the firsts sounds of a whimper.  My daughter goes to bed at 8:30 pm but I always get her up at 10 pm to change her one last time and feed her.  should I keep doing that?  or do you think her sleeping pattern gets screwed up by me waking her and that is the reason why she wakes up?  I'm a little scared about trying it because I don't want her to get into the habit again of waking up and being hungry because I let her go so long without eating.  Please...any feedback would be greatly appreciated

You might try putting several pacifiers in the crib.  We do this with our son so that he can always find one.
