For years I worked in arts fields. Earned my living in graphic design, if you call that a living. Now that I am a parent, though, that deadline-oriented lifestyle does not work out too well. I always kinda wondered where the older graphic designers went - there were a few over forty, but guaranteed they were dovirced, or going though a divorce. In any case, in the small city we live in, graphic design is really not a viable option.
There are McJobs to be had, retail, you know, Target or Barnes & Noble.
So I am thinking about getting an Associates Degree in Radiography. Figure work until I am 65 or 70, then be available to help out my kids with their kids.
Anyone out there work in Radiography/Mammography?
