I had a baby 14 months ago.I am in mini pill and I am breastfeeding still but my period did not come .Please tell me will my period will come or is there a any problem.Thanks

I nursed my 2nd child for 17 months.  I think I got a period when I started trying to wean her.  I think I had two periods and both were a day or two early and now I am one day late and concerned.  My husband got a vasectomy over a year ago and had the two after tests done till they saw no active sperm so that is when we got the go ahead to stop using contraceptives and I think we only had sex one time and it was 6 days after my last period?  I am concerned that I may be pregnant though.  What do you think the odds are?

My 10 month old decided he was done bf two weeks ago. He had gradually been slowing down and then that was it - all done! Last week (after one week since bf) my "period" returned, but it is so light and scarce I don't know if I should even count it as a period. It's more like spotting. Does this mean I should consider myself fertile again?

 I weaned my son at 9 months and completely off by 10 months and didn't get my period until 5-6 months after that. It is completely normal, all women get their peroids at different times during, weaning or completely weaning their child off of the breastfeeding

I realize it's been 5 months since this post went up, but I am now in the same boat - I am weaning my 7 month old in hopes of ovulating and getting my period so we can try for #2 and hopefully have him or her in late June / early July of '09. That doesn't leave us much wiggle room or time! So, how long did it take for your period to finally come back, if it has yet? And how's it going with your attempt to conceive #2?
