WHY can't I find a replacement cover for my car seat?  Jillian rides the Britax Marathon, and has apparently inherited her father's sensitive stomach.  She barfed all over it this morning, so I pulled it out and hosed it down, but now we're stranded until it dries.

If I had a backup, I wouldn't have this problem but the Britax site doesn't yet allow you to shop from it and I cannot find other covers anywhere.  Everything is out of stock.

On Ebay, I did find some that claim to fit the Britax seats, but I don't want to shell out a bunch of money for something second-rate.  Anyone have any experience with these "custom" covers?  Conversely, if you know where I can get an actual Britax brand cover, let me know.

My babe gets super sweaty on those synthetic seats so the covers help! 

Look on the britax web site under parts and accessories.  www.britaxusa.com     They have seat covers and all the straps.  I just bought a complete replacement set for  a backup.  It's expensive, but cheaper than buying a whole new carseat.  Hope this helps!

Can anyone tell me where to find the replacement straps for britax marathon car seats? I checked on the britax website under parts & accessories and only the covers came up. Please help!!

 

 Search some more on the Britax website. They do have all the straps in the Marathon parts and accessories section. They're reasonably priced, but the shipping is lousy.

It looks like they have Britax Covers for most seats.

Go to britaxusa.com and click on the parts and accessories link and then select marathon and it gives you all the parts that you can purchase including seat covers! 

an aftermarket cover VOIDS the warranty!! and they are not flame resistant!

Fyi, to all you moms how have yucky coverseat covers. I have a 4 & 2 year old both in a Britax Marathon and I have been washing them in the gentle cycle and drying them on low for years. They come out beautifully and never shrink. Give it a try I think you will be surprised.  

Yes, an after market cover VOIDS the warranty! Do not use anything on your seat other  than whats made by Britax. All of these made at home, hande made designer seat covers aren't crash tested. What you're doing is making YOUR CHILD the test dummy. Nothing, absolutely nothing, other than Britax on a Britax, or any seat! Its so sickening to see so many that disregard this!
