A four-year-old was expelled from school for "inappropriately" hugging a school aide. To say that I'm shocked is an understatement. Since when does a preschooler hug inappropriately?

Yes, I'm sure this four-year-old was thinking, "I'm gonna cop me a feel off the hottie T.A."  This sort of thing drives me nuts...

If I were the parent, I would sue the school district. What can you talk about with people who would call a 4 yr old's need for physical contact as "sexual"? What kind of people are these?

That is completely ridiculous. If the hug was uncomfortable for the aide in some way or if he was touching her in a way that is not ok (kids *do* like to grab boobs, etc.) then a calm explanation and a request not to do it again would have been the right response. The toddler is not the one with the problem here.
