    NYC baby-friendly hotels?

We'll be making a road trip from Toronto to New York in February. I'm a bit overwhelmed by the hotel choices. We're loking for something in midtown Manhattan (because of convenience), but we're open to options. Anyone have any good experiences or suggestions they can share?

We stayed at Le Parker Meridien this past spring.  It was fantastic!  The room was great for our then 15 month old little boy (it had a dvd player, very comfortable bed) and we had a beautiful view of Central Park.  The hotel was very helpful in suggesting kid friendly restaurants, kid friendly activities, etc.  They also have an indoor pool on the roof which we took advantage of every single day.  The restaurants in the hotel are nice too - we ate breakfast at the fancier one, and it was fine eating there with a one year old.  We grabbed dinner at a little hidden burger joint inside of the lobby.  It was very central to everything that we wanted to do in NYC - we walked to most things - took cabs to the Bronx Zoo and Eastside activities.  Overall, it was a great experience.

Here's the link to their website if you're interested: http://www.parkermeridien.com/index1.php
