While on bed rest this summer I placed an ad for a nanny.  After interviewing several nannies, we found one that we really liked. We hired her and we have been very happy with her. 

She informed me today that she may be 3 months pregnant.My son is 5 months old and she started working for us less than 3 months ago. I dont know how comfortable I am with the idea of having her bring her newborn to work and watching my son. The reason we hired a nanny is that we wanted one on one time with our son.

Did anyone run into this situation? and how have you handled it?

I am a nanny and I bring my daughter to work wth me.  It has been great. The little one I nanny for is 6 months younger than my daughter and they play together great. When I first started my daughter was 1 and the little boy 6 months.  I think that as long as your nanny can handle two at the same time it would be ok.  It's also great because both my daughter and the little boy i nanny have someone to play with that is close to their own age! That helps improve social and developmental skills.  Hope this helps!
