Babble

My 6 month old son has suddenly started waking up during night hungry.  He was sleeping 10 hours at night and now keeps waking up screaming until I give him a bottle.  He goes right back to sleep after, but why is he suddenly waking up for nighttine feedings? 

I'm not sure I know why, but I've had the same problem with my 10 month old.  She's been sleeping 11-12 hours with just one feeding, but she has phases when she wakes 2-3 times a night.  I can usually tell when it's teething or if she's overly tired so she's struggling to stay asleep.  Other times, she just seems to want to nurse and get back to sleep.  My best guess is that she's having a growth spurt, so I feed her but also try to fill her up even more during the day.  Most of the time, she goes back to sleeping as she usually does within a few days.
