Babble

I am 22 year old dad of a 3 years old daughter who lives in a different state. I stumbled across Babble.com recently, and I thought this is a very good resource for father all over. For the last year I've been searching for communities like this for young teenage fathers, and was very unsuccessful. I was wondering if anyone have any knowledge of other resources out there for Fathers and families out of wedlock. If there is not, maybe its time to build one. However I also noticed that the demographics of fathers who are on Babble.com may not fit the situation that I'm describing. So I would like to meet more single father who wants to be more involved in their child's life.

HI - tough situation. Gosh I'm in my 50's and find this situation tough enough. Best advice is to stay involved no matter what and when you are older you will have a good relationship with your kids. There are many sites out there. Take a look at http://separatedman.blogware.com. You might get some ideas about hooking up with a support group. Best of luck.
