Babble

With SD now updating hourly, the posts roll off the main page (and even the full SD page) very quickly.  Even an obsessive Babble-reader like me has a hard time keeping up.  Maybe the page could be designed so all entries from the last 24 hours stay up there?  Short intro sections that link to the full text if a reader is interested maybe...

There are some format changes in the works for the blogs that will make them more readable. Watch for that to happen soon, and let us know what you think about it.

Have you tried using a feedreader like Bloglines or Google reader?  You can load Strollerderby (our RSS feeds) into it and then read SD at your convenience instead of feeling like you have to rush to keep up.  Try it and see how you like it!

The Flaming Lips are taking YOSHIMI BATTLES THE PINK ROBOTS to the Great White Way.  Writer Aaron Sorkin (of West Wing and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip fame) has signed on to pen the new musical.

People dancing around in Bunny costumes, confetti, covers of "War Pigs" and fake blood on Broadway?

I'm really excited about that, too. I'm trying to figure out how to really make it relevant to parenting...hmmm...last time I saw the Flaming Lips, they did broadcast some "Teletubbies" footage on their Jumbotron....
