    Unisex infant clothing

I'm expecting a baby boy in November, and I'm shell-shocked by my first tentative forays into infant clothing stores. Everything is so gender-segregated (as if the babies would care, or notice): fairies and princesses for the girls, football helmets and dumb studly slogans for the boys. If anyone has recommendations for good online sources of unisex infant and baby wear - especially stores that don't just sell green and yellow unisex clothing! - I'd be very grateful to hear them. Thanks!

Hanna Andersson and Zutano are two great brands of unisex fun well-made stuff. they're pricier than the cheap stuff in many stores but if you look at used clothing stores and are lucky enough to find some, they are incredibly well-made and will last forever. Try kidsurplus.com as well.  I also often dressed my infant son in stuff from the girls side of the store... seems like most of the stuff that looks more unisex to my eyes gets classified as "girls" clothing. .

I totally agree. I have had such a hard time shopping for my friends and family who decided not to find out the sex of their baby before birth. I told them it was very selfish of them and asked how I was supposed to shop :) !

I was so tired of frogs and ducks, ick!

I like Hanna Anderson, I also really like Oscar & Belle, www.OscarAndBelle.com, they are very classic, a little pricy, but I love their style. Also everything they offer is organic! I love that! finally organic isn't frumpy.
