If my husband made $2M a year, I would totally let him sleep all night...because I know I would have a cleaning lady and/or cook and/or nanny to help me out during the day.

(We're in the trenches right now. Our 3rd son is just 3 wks old.)

@Treespeed: nothing wrong with it. It just sounds like he hasn't discussed it with his wife. Plus, it doesn't happen very often in my experience (at least not at that young an age.)

Oh please, are you trying to tell me his wife doesn’t have a nanny so that she gets some help and can take a nap. I would think if this guy is playing sports at a professional level it might be important for him to get his sleep and keep the paycheck coming in. And why on earth can’t they take a vacation without the kid? Or is there something wrong with leaving kids with grandparents or other caregiver?

He's a liar. You know she is crunchign his ribs twice a night saying, "Get up asshole! It's your turn!". YOu knwo when she read this quote he came home and she laughed her ass off while making the couch for him to sleep on.
