His first experience was so traumatizing he held everything in and cried for an hour and refused to go for HOURS till we landed back in dallas and could go at home. It was horrific. Luckily he didn;t transfer the fear to all potties just the auto ones and even now at 4 he is petrified of them and he will cower and shake while he is going if he suspects its an auto. I do cover it with a piece of paper to help him. I hate those potties! I feel sorry for kids and parents who have had setbacks bc of this....it is a real fear for some kids.

I guess I was just thrown by the name of Poop School. It sounds gauche. Why not something more classy, like Colon College? Just sayin'

The toilets weren't so bad, because there's usually a manual flush also. But then, to not be able to wash my hands...

My almost-5-year-old would NEVER poop in a toilet with an automatic flusher. She'll briefly sit up there to pee, then quickly jumps down and covers her ears.

My 3-year-old is not similarly terrified, thankfully.
