Now teenagers are another story. I don't much like them at all.

Sure there were days in those first few months when I was on the brink of disaster, but once we got in the swing of things - wow! Loved it. I'm not dreading the 1 year old phase because they're so captivated by everything but, to be honest, I'm dreading the phase after that. I was a nanny for two toddlers, and the right around 2 years old drove me bonkers. I could barely stand to get away by the end of the day. Maybe with my own kid it will be different (I hope so!) but I'm trying to just start good habits now and hope they'll get us both through the 18-24 old phase. After two, I like them again, the more they get close to three, as someone else said already!
