&lt;p&gt;Fuck these studies. &amp;nbsp;Nobody ever knocks on MY door, asks me if I have a lawn (laffo, like you'd need to ask) and then weighs my kids. &amp;nbsp;I've decided that since I'm never invited to be one of the test subjects that all these studies are all bullshit.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;img src="http://babble.com/CS/aggbug.aspx?PostID=7502" width="1" height="1"&gt;</description></item><item><title>re: Kids With Lawns are Skinnier, Study Says</title><link>http://babble.com/CS/blogs/strollerderby/archive/2007/02/17/kids-with-lawns-are-skinnier-study-says.aspx#7426</link><pubDate>Sat, 17 Feb 2007 22:09:26 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">42a08a39-daf3-4129-8a63-8a27b879cc03:7426</guid><dc:creator>Sheri</dc:creator><description>&lt;p&gt;Yes, I'm a fat girl. &amp;nbsp;Used to be a skinny one, married a big guy. &amp;nbsp;For some reason, we have normal sized kiddies. &amp;nbsp;I'm guessing it is because I make sure they eat right, and get the exercize they need. &amp;nbsp;I, on the other hand, eat when I can and run after them. &amp;nbsp;I'm working on the whole fat thing, but that's another blog. &amp;nbsp;I don't know why some kids are fat while others are thin. &amp;nbsp;We have been known to eat at McDonalds once a month or so, we also have snack foods sitting around the house--lots of fruit and good stuff, but also cookies and graham crackery kiddie stuff. &amp;nbsp;I just signed the 4 year-old up for soccer. &amp;nbsp;Hopefully, they will remain thin. &amp;nbsp;We live near several parks and we have a small backyard. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I wonder though, if sometimes people just try to find this stuff. &amp;nbsp;People are different. &amp;nbsp;Everyone has one of those annoying friends who eat like a friggin horse and gain nothing, and a friend who eats like a bird and exersizes like a wild woman who can't get rid of the last 10 lbs in her hips and butt. &amp;nbsp;Everything in moderation and usually things will be alright.&lt;/p&gt;

Here in the country (though the quality of food is much, much, better) we don't get enough daily excercise. &amp;nbsp;I cannot wait to move to Paris next year. &amp;nbsp;Physically and psycically (diversity) much healthier. &amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;

My 2-year-old is still skinny in spite of being house-bound.&lt;/p&gt;
