I think that it's time we started to be honest about what we want for our children with respect to sexuality. Is it really that we want them to be virgins forever? Or do we want them to make educated decisions, have protection and pleasure, understand intimacy, and avoid potential negatives? When did teen sexuality become such a bad thing? Today our culture either demonizes sexuality or exploits it. If we actually started teaching sexuality as a wonderful and innate part of our lives, acknowledged that it encompassed far more than our sexual orientation and status of "virgin or non-virgin", and allowed our children to be empowered by this information and not ashamed by it, we would all be better off. And of course, this education starts at birth (yes, I said birth).
