That was my favorite show of all time, when i was younger. Kids don't see what statement is was making, it was just plain fun and crazy. As an adult, I think it's even more funny with all the satire.

I think this is the 10th time they've tried to bring Paul Reubens back onto something. I saw him about 2 years ago at an event and oh boy, he's looking really, really old (and plump).

My husband bought me the first season on dvd. My kids LOVE it!! They'll sing, "connect the dots, la-la-la-la!" all the ime these days. My eight-year-old doesn't "get" Pee-Wee though. He's my serious child.

Pee-Wee's Playhouse was recently being shown late-night on the Cartoon Network or Comedy Central or something - I forget what channel and I never have enough room on the Tivo to record the really good stuff.

I don't know if it's still on or not, and that's sad. I watched every single episode and I even had Pee-Wee's Playhouse Colorforms, which will go down in history as the best toy ever.

I don't plan to let The Jillian watch any kids' programming except Sesame Street and SpongeBob, and you can be sure PWP will be allowed. I believe it's on DVD now, so hurrah for that!

I would unlock the TV again if Pee-Wee came back on the air. I LOVED this show. Everything and anything was possible, just like in life (if you let it). My favorite character? Pterri the Pterodactyl.

Actually, David Sedaris would do an admirable job as Pee Wee, at least of Pee Wee doing an impression of Truman Capote (hey, what an idea......!).
