Also, Condi Rice was nine years old when the four young girls in the 16th Street Baptist Church were killed in the racially charged bombings. Condi was actually friends with one of the victims.

The fact that Jackson and Rice have risen above oppression (even though they're not figures I - or Shannon LC Cate - condone) doesn't make their backgrounds any less oppressive.

Jackson was born in the 40s and raised in the South. He attended a racially segregated high school. That's not oppression? What is it then? True, he's a pompous jerk today, but that doesn't negate the fact of his beginnings. . .

As an average white guy not eligible for the numerous discriminatory anti-white, anti-male programs, I can only daydream about being so "oppressed".
