OK, banned from public libraries no....I direct my child there. ...banned from school libraries, yes or a written permission from the parent to read. It is my responsibility to educate my child when I feel it is right.

No one has the right to not let someone read or see something just because one person finds it uncomfortable.

I think that this, like so many things in life, is what you make of it. I don't ever agree with banning books. Period. If a person is uncomfortable with the content they are within their rights to not buy it or borrow it or read it a second time, but they do not have the right to ban it.

We love "Mommy Laid an Egg." At least, I do. My husband skips a couple of pages. Or four. When I was pregnant with my second, the (then) two-yr-old and I chanted along: "The baby gets bigger, and bigger and BIGGER! The mommy gets fatter, and fatter and FATTER!"

And yeah, it's one thing to tell kids the truth about where babies come from, but probably not necessary to give them ALL the details now.

i think pics of mommy and daddys special time is crossing the line. Kids dont need to know or see positions. Just show a pic of them in bed together. under the covers. covered.

i think calling it "karma sutra for kids" is gross. besides, isn't it Kama Sutra?
