Tony, are you out of your mind? I don't think any woman has ever been happy about the fact that she can't carry a baby full to term, and I think you are sick in insinuating that we all kill our baby's. If Palin was an HONEST woman then there wouldn't be this controversy over baby TRIG. If Palin was a decent human being she wouldn't be charging a rape victim for a "test kit" at the emergency room. I believe Palin is a snake in the grass and America will be bit big time if she is elected as VP. May God forgive you.

Are birth certificates public record? Probably not, although, hmmm...anyone know? Of course, it could be faked. A conspiracy theory, perhaps. It would be hard to keep secret. I wonder if anyone from the Wasillia hospital delivery room has made any statements about his or was questioned when this controversy came up? Any witnesses to the birth?

One thing I find really curious and haven't seen any evidence of, is if ANY governor of ANY state had a baby while in office, wouldn't this be a MAJOR photo op? Did the Alaska papers cover this????

why does it matter to everyone whether the baby is hers or Bristol's?

She's running for VP, not mother of the year. If you're going to judge based on whether she lied about Trig being hers, you're not making a very wise choice.

Her personal life has nothing to do with us. We don't need to judge her like that, or her daughter for that matter. Families go through some very difficult things sometimes, and we don't always need to know EXACTLY what's going on.

After researching online, I believe that Bristol is the mother of Trig...in addition to the above clues, there are pics online of LEVI's (Bristols boyfriend)family holding and kissing Trig. ODD. Why did Palin remove DOZENS of family photos on the state website soon after the CBC (Canadian TV station)aired a NEWS SEGMENT about the possibility of Palin passing off Bristol's baby as her own? Why is there NO OFFICIAL RECORD of Trig's birth? Trig is short for Trigonometry, a high school math class.

Believe it or not, it is somewhat common for teen mothers to get pregnant soon after giving birth-they either think it's not possible because their period hasn't resumed (It is possible!!), or they want a replacement baby for the one they are forced to give up. Coincidentally,at the Alaska Regional Hospital, a baby boy was born to father "Levi"on April 18 (Trig's birthday)-the photo is very interesting-check out the eye shape. Still a few too many missing pieces of this puzzle...

Also, Sarah Palin was a teen mother with a shotgun wedding, too. Is Bristol really pregnant now, or will there be a "miscarriage" in November? Is she really 5 months pregnant, or four? Hollywood couldn't have penned a better soap!

Laura - I also saw the News Week interview she gave in March of 2008 (1 month before she supposedly delivered Trig). I'm definitely convinced that he’s not her baby. I’m a mother of four and there is no way that I nor any of my friends that have children could have crossed our legs and lean forward throughout an entire interview as she did. It’s impossible at 7 months even if the baby is small.

I find this whole story disturbing. As a labor and delivery RN for 27 years, the thought of a woman pregnant with her 5th child getting on a long airplane flight with ruptured membranes is absolutely ridiculous! No obstetrican in his right mind would tell his pt. to do that. He or She would have told her to get to the nearest hospital that has a neonatal unit and could take care of an infant that is preterm with down's syndrome. On CNN this weekend, they did a profile of her and speaking of this birth, she states, "I had to give birth on Alaskan soil". Why is that?? Is that because when Alaska seceeds from the Union that you must be a native or that she wasn't really pregnant after all and she had to get home to be there when the daughter delivered! Even if it turns out to be Sarah Palin's baby, what kind of judgement does that show for someone to be so unconcered about the welfare of your unborn child? The thought of her being in the White House really frightens me!

Something is wrong with this story. I am a mother of two and who in their right mind would take the chance of giving birth in front of a roomful of governors or on a plane with people you don't know? Not to mention all of the issues about it being a high risk pregnancy and birth. Can you imagine giving a speech while amniotic fluid is seeping from you? Isn't it instinct that causes us when we are in labor to want to feel safe and in a place where you can prepare yourself for birth? I don't know why she would tell this story but it goes against all maternal instinct as I have known it and as I have observed it.

Sarah Barracuda is awesome ! She can easily lie and do cover-ups with the Big Boys, like Nixon, Cheney, Kissinger. It takes nerves of steel to wear a sympathy suit in public and pretend to be pregnant for 6 weeks, when even your closest aides and staff have seen you not an ounce pregnant for seven months ! Show no fear, stare them down, the sheeple will never look too close or risk being called rumormongers. Awesome ! And smart, too, that 'premature' ruse worked perfectly - just 6 weeks to 'explain' away, then presto, Trig arrives, back to work. Trips galore, bobbing and weaving, they never suspected a thing, just a strong-as-a-moose Hockey Mom, a pitbull in lipstick :-) "Sure I can fly 18 hours after my water leaked, I'm tougher than your husband !" There's like 2 photos that show her 'pregnant', but it's her *attitude*, her *do not dare question me* glare that pulled it all off. My heroine ! No one has the balls to call her a baldfaced liar, and Sarah *knew* it !

And this is just natural talent. Imagine once she gets hooked into the National Republican circles, those guys are world class - assassinations, disinformation, they can make and break newspapers and TV stations with a phone call, they can make people end Presidential runs with a fax. Imagine Sarah Barracuda with THOSE resources at her fingertips after Old Man McCain has an unfortunate accident ?

Step aside Hilary, we have a First Woman President ! Republican Rule for another 30 years, people will never look back at a simple pregnancy cover up after she is VP, then President. I really don't think anyone is that concerned on whether the child is hers or her daughter's. I feel we are really concerned about why she has never been forthright with the pregnancy, Bristol's condition in which she missed five mths of school and Bristol's currents situation. He family entittled to live their lives as they please but her disregard for the truth is menacing. Especially because she chooses to live in the glare of public scrutiny. She has by default blessed her children with this too. That comes with running for public office. He live a how she lives it and the choices she makes affect how we veiw how she with help set up legislation or advise on it. She is for me now representing the women of America. I am an educated woman and I have 3 children. I have always been a Republican but will vote for Obama and change my party affiliation. I don't want her representing women. Her values are unclear and her stance on civil rights is also in question. Yesterday I learned the 30 states in our union have no laws defending gays if they loose their job based on knowledge of their sexual orientation. Alaska and Arizona are two of those states. Obama is for equal rights. We live in a different world. I am not gay but served in the military during the first gulf war. I served along gays too afraid to say they were in fear of being kicked out. We have to change this country catch up with the world and separate our church and state since we are America free to all people and religion. We are not a country just for Heterosexual Christians. Open your eyes and learn of her political view and don't talk down to you fellow American with fowl and improper English. Take a step up and educate your self.

Down's Syndrome is a condition that requires an extreme amount of time and energy from the parents. Sarah Palin is not putting the welfare of her child above her own personal desire for power. Her actions in Texas, flying home, risking infection, giving birth at a small local hospital attest to her inablity to accept Trig's condition and needs. Now it appears that she willing exposes her baby to everyone and anyone. Down's Syndrome weakens the immune system. His appearances in public and at the convention are a risk to his health. You know, looking at the daughter during the RNC convention earlier this week, she could easily pass for someone who delivered a baby 5 months ago whereas, Sarah Palin does not. Isn’t the daughter supposed to be 5 months pregnant currently? It’s interesting that Trig is just about 5 months old.

I wonder if their strategy is to "kill" a huge scandal (i.e. that Trig is really daughter's son) by replacing that story with another “juicy” but less damaging one (i.e., that the daughter is in fact pregnant). If so then of course this is all designed to remove attention from the bigger scandal but yet give the public something to chew on and perhaps draw some publicity and public sympathy.

If Trig is indeed Sarah's grandson, then it would mean that the daughter's boyfriend (Levi) is in on it too. Notice that his parents were not present at the RNC convention. It would also mean the hospital where Trig was delivered is in on it too. Is that even possible?

Also, if Trig is truly Sarah's grandson, then Bristol is NOT really pregnant currently (unless she’s pregnant for the second time). So what happens if no baby is born is the next 4 months? Perhaps we may wake up one morning to breaking news about an alleged loss of a pregnancy ( a pregnancy which never really was..); a ploy to resolve the issue of why a baby will not be born within the next 4 months. If this were to happen, wouldn’t it be interesting that it occur a few weeks before the election…..and move intended to draw on heartstrings a sympathetic pubic…especially women!
